Eine Kurzgeschichte von Jessica Steinke
Deep into the darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing somebody is watching me. Or maybe something?
I took two steps backwards, watching the area. It was too dark to notice something. Suddenly, I heard a rustle close to me. A cold shiver went down my spine but my feet didn’t obey. I wanted to run away, run as fast as I can, knowing I would be save at home but I couldn’t move. Something had taken over me. My heart beat against my chest and I felt tears running down my cheeks. Desperately I tried to cry for help but no sound left my lips. Then I noticed something right in front of me. A huge black monster was standing only a few meters away, analyzing every inch of my body. It began to smile terribly. It stretched out its sharp claws to finally slit me.
Bolt upright, I’m sitting on my bed, poured with sweat. It was just a dream.
